Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the US for the past 40 years. Her most well-known role is for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared for her first stage appearance. Then, she appeared on Broadway for a number of productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it big in the National Theatre. She released her album It's too late for Tina that following year. Louise began with her Hollywood career in the year 1958 in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge success, and Louise earned an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's student. The next role she starred in was through in 1964 when she signed with CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise was able to balance her work across Broadway TV and Hollywood playing more serious roles as in contrast to her portrayal of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she has also made a name for herself as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural or The 100. She was born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three where she subsequently spent growing up and in adolescence. When she was chosen to play the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and was there ever from then on.
